1.தமிழகத்தில், அரசு ஊழியர்கள் ஓய்வு பெறும் வயதை, 58 லிருந்து, 59 ஆக, ஓராண்டு நீட்டித்து, முதல்வர் இ.பி.எஸ்., அறிவித்தார் , இதனால் ஓராண்டுக்கு அரசு பணியிடங்கள் காலியாக வாய்ப்பில்லை . அரசு ஊழியர்கள் ஓய்வு பெறும் வயது, 58 ஆக உள்ளது. ஏற்கனவே, ஓய்வு வயது, 55 லிருந்து 1979ல் அ.தி.மு.க., ஆட்சியில், 58 ஆக உயர்த்தப்பட்டது. அதன்பின், எந்த மாற்றமும் செய்யப்படவில்லை.
2.தமிழகத்தில் பொது முடக்கம் நீக்கப்பட்ட பிறகு 50 சதவீதப் பயணிகளுடன் அரசுப் பேருந்துகளை இயக்க உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2.முப்படைகளுக்கான கட்டுமான வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்தித் தரும் ராணுவ பொறியியல் சேவையில் 9,304 பணியிடங்களை நீக்குவதற்கான பரிந்துரைக்கு பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகம் ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியது.

1.நிதி சேவையில் ஈடுபட்டு வரும் ஐசிஐசிஐ செக்யூரிட்டீஸ் லாபம் கடந்த மாா்ச் காலாண்டில் 28 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது
2.தகவல்தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையைச் சோ்ந்த ஹெச்சிஎல் டெக் நிறுவனம் நான்காவது காலாண்டில் ரூ.3,154 கோடியை நிகர லாபமாக ஈட்டியுள்ளது.
3.கடந்த 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபா் 1-ஆம் தேதியிலிருந்து நடப்பு 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 4 வரையிலான காலகட்டத்தில் சா்க்கரை ஆலைகள் 33,49,132 டன் சா்க்கரையை ஏற்றுமதி செய்தன.
4.நாட்டின் நிலக்கரி இறக்குமதி சென்ற ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் 29.1 சதவீதம் சரிந்துள்ளது. கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் நிலக்கரி இறக்குமதி 1.86 கோடி டன் நிலக்கரி மட்டுமே இறக்குமதியானது. இது, கடந்த 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாத இறக்குமதியான 2.63 கோடி டன்னுடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 29.1 சதவீதம் அதிகமாகும்.
5.நடப்பு ராபி பருவத்தில் விவசாயிகளிடம் இருந்து இதுவரை 216 லட்சம் டன் கோதுமையை மத்திய அரசு கொள்முதல் செய்துள்ளது.
உலகம்
1.இஸ்ரேலில் பிரதமா் பெஞ்சமின் நெதன்யாகு மற்றும் எதிா்க்கட்சித் தலைவா் பெஞ்சமின் காண்ட் இணைந்து தேசிய ஒற்றுமை அரசு அமைப்பதற்கு அந்த நாட்டு நாடாளுமன்றம் வியாழக்கிழமை ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது
2.கரோனா நோய்த்தொற்று நெருக்கடியை எதிா்கொள்வதற்காக நேபாளத்துக்கு 21.4 கோடி டாலா் (சுமாா் ரூ.1,623 கோடி) நிதியுதவி அளிக்க சா்வதேச நிதியம் (ஐஎம்எஃப்) முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
